Episode 145 - Ranking the Worst Bosses in the Zelda Series
Monday Jan 25, 2021
Monday Jan 25, 2021
We try to keep it pretty positive on this show, but sometimes you just have to wade through the mud, which is exactly what we're doing this week. The gang are reaching low to recall and discuss some of the absolute worst bosses in the Zelda series! Though the bosses that Link faces off against are usually pretty fun, over 35 years there are bound to be some stinkers, so put your boots on and swim through the mud with us!
There's some familiar faces on this list, but maybe some will surprise you! Come let us now what you think!

Buckle in for one of our longest episodes ever as the gang take YOUR questions on and about The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess! Would we like to see Midna return? What would we have changed about the story? Did Ganondorf undercut Zant? Was the Wolf gimmick used to its full potential? What is the games legacy? And of course, what does Andy think about the art style and what really makes it "ugly"?
There are a couple good rants and a whole lot of interesting Twilight Princess insight. Come and hang out, and don't forget to follow us on Facebook so the next time we do a game Q&A, you can get your questions answered!

Episode 141 - Imagining a Cyberpunk Zelda Game
Monday Dec 28, 2020
Monday Dec 28, 2020
Open your eyes.
All around you, tall, sweeping skyscrapers everywhere the eye can see. Dark, gritty streets. Neon lights illuminating the night. The potion shops, open and selling luminescent brews to anyone willing to pay for them. Round the clock surveillance by the flying Guardian drones. A frightened people, scurrying about, desperately trying not to be noticed.
The land of Hyrule has changed over the centuries. Using the Sheikahs technology, the world has advanced further than anyone ever thought possible. The legends and the gods of old were forgotten, and in their place, new gods rose up: the gods of technology, media, and progress. Gone was the Kingdom of Hyrule. Replacing it was GanIncorpotated, the largest conglomerate in the world who was secretly controlling everything and everyone. Presidents, mayors, leaders, were all nothing. GanIncorp were the men behind the masks.
Citizens living in fear. GanIncorp running the world. No hope. No tomorrow.
Open your eyes.
You are Link. Welcome to Hyrule 2149.
... I mean, you'd play that game, right? Come listen as we pitch what a really cool Cyberpunk Zelda might look like, and how there's a lot more cyberpunk in Zelda already - maybe more than you think!

We've got a special treat for you! This week, the gang was joined by the one-and-only Patricia Summersett, or as you know her, the voice of Princess Zelda in Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity. Patricia was gracious enough to spend over an hour chatting with us and didn't hold back on anything! How did she find the voice for Zelda? What were her reactions to some of the negative criticisms? How did working on Age of Calamity compare to Breath of the Wild? What's working for the Big N like? How has 2020 impacted voice acting as a medium? What are her favorite Zelda games? And maybe most importantly - did Nintendo name Riju's pet sand seal after her!?
All this and so much more! I'll guarantee that no matter your thoughts on the voice acting, you'll fall in love with Patricia the actress and the person, so make sure you come and check this interview out!
